A huge congratulations to two former VSV students – Jakara and Scotty – who were recently on the podium at the Beijing Olympics.
Jakara Anthony is an Australian freestyle skier who won the Women’s Moguls event at the 2022 Winter Olympics. She is currently studying for a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at Deakin University.
Scotty James, an Australian snowboarder, won silver in the men’s halfpipe competition at the Winter Olympics.
Both Olympians were enrolled in the Sports/Performance category and are great examples of the important role VSV plays in the lives of a range of students.
