The Primary Connect event at the MCG’s Australian Sports Museum gave students, families, carers and teachers the opportunity to meet and enjoy the wonderful facilities and activities.
One family drove from Canberra to join us; others from country Victoria or from flood-affected regions. This is testimony to the importance of these days.
Highlights included: seeing behind the scenes at the MCG, visiting the Australian Sports Museum, meeting an Olympian – David Wansbrough, silver medallist (Field Hockey) – and experiencing the interactive activities in the Game On! centre.
Feedback from families has been overwhelmingly positive:

The Primary team is looking forward to the Primary Big Day Out at ACMI, Hamer Hall and Birrarung Marr on 12 December.
