The Year 11 VSV Drama students recently performed their incredible self-devised performance ensemble pieces at St. Martin’s Youth Theatre.
Inspired by the renowned Australian artist, Terry Matassoni, students connected with the artwork and delivered thought-provoking theatre of a high standard. The performance delved into the theme of connectedness versus isolation, and students were thrilled that Terry attended the show.
The students collaborated from all around Victoria, with only two in-person rehearsals prior to the performance.
Teacher Greta Georgiou described the performance as “a mature and professional work.” She was also impressed with the “bonding and camaraderie amongst this group of inspiring young individuals.”
