The Year 11 Personal Development Skills (PDS) students recently escaped to the city, taking a break from their usual routine to put their problem-solving and teamwork skills to the test. Meeting under the clocks at Flinders St station, PDS students and teachers met each other in person for the first time!
Their destination? The Adventure Rooms, where they split into two teams to tackle the challenges of the ‘Gaol Break’ and ‘Black Queen’ escape rooms. For over an hour, they worked as a team, putting their heads together to crack codes and solve puzzles during the adventure.
After attempting ‘The Great Escape’, the group enjoyed lunch at Federation Square, where they chatted and got to know each other. Stepping out of their comfort zones for the day, students applied their learning and formed connections with their Virtual School Victoria classmates and teachers.
