The recent Primary Connect Day at VSV had a record attendance, with 35 students from Foundation to Year 6 attending.

The day was a resounding success.

“Today was wonderful, and the hard work that goes into it all doesn’t go unnoticed,” shared one parent.

Students took part in various activities, including Hoop Hop Showdown, Target Throw, and ‘Egg’ and spoon races. They also enjoyed art and craft sessions, making and decorating Olympic rings, medals, torches, and flags. Students also participated in Olympic-themed yoga.

A highlight of the day was watching students demonstrate the Olympic values of Excellence, Respect, and Friendship. They actively engaged in the activities while supporting and encouraging each other, which helped them form new friendships.

The event also gave students the chance to build independence, connect with their peers, and meet their teachers. For parents, it provided a valuable opportunity to connect with each other, share experiences and foster a supportive school community.
