Term 4 is a pivotal time in the school year, especially for our VCE students who are in the process of completing their final exams. I want to take a moment to recognise the dedication and determination our VCE students have shown—your hard work truly inspires us, and the broader VSV community is cheering you on every step of the way. You’re almost there! Stay focused and believe in yourselves; the finish line is in sight!
Thank you also to the parents/carers supporting their young people – there is a team behind every learner! Your encouragement, guidance, and belief in our students make all the difference, helping them achieve their best – not to mention all the nourishing meals along the way!
I’m looking forward to celebrating with those who are attending our Graduation Dinner on the 25th of November.
Term 4 is also a season of new beginnings for students in other levels, as many of you make important decisions about your learning pathways for 2025. Whether you’re preparing to begin Year 7 or VCE, exploring new subjects, or setting fresh goals, this is a time to reflect on your journey and dream about what’s next.
If you’re visiting VSV during Term 4 please take a few minutes to check out our beautiful new habitat garden. Planted with care by our Middle Years students, this garden offers a peaceful sanctuary for our students, staff and local wildlife. You can read more about this wonderful initiative in VSV Life.
Sending warm wishes to members of our community who celebrate Diwali. May the lights of Diwali fill your home with happiness and joy.
